Hey folks....havent updated in a while! I thought after my first post id update more regularly, but ive never been the type to ramble on...

So I didnt get much done drawing wise today which is pretty frustrating....probably my first drawing block in a long while.....i usually know exactly what i want to draw, and when i dont i just leave it simmering until the right idea comes (not long after) and i tackle it straight away.

But today was different. Im a little stuck for ideas, but mainly because i have no reference! And i cant find any online. The best thing to do would be to take a photo, but im wondering what if youre on a deadline and you cant get to that background you want and/or cant get volunteers for photos? thats my dilemma. Obviously i can do what hundreds of mediocre artists would do, and draw it anyway without reference (or maybe they couldnt get reference either, which is why they look mediocre) but i dont think thats good enough. Ive done basic layouts which look pretty good, but i have certain images in my head and i want to get that down, i dont want to simply try and get it right.
Can you tell im a perfectionist?

i guess the best artists are great because they are the ones who have gathered years worth of reference, and coupled with the fact they are pros and drawing all day every day, they constantly get better (not like you or i didnt know this....heh....im tired...)

On the upside im becoming really happy with my new stuff...especially my anatomy. ill post some stuff soon!!
